Jing Hai Yang Semiconductor Materials (Donghai) Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of JA Solar (NASDAQ ticker symbol: JASO), was established in October, 2008 with a registered capital of $73 million USD, and mainly engaged in multi-crystalline silicon solar wafer production. The company is located in the west economic development zone of Donghai County in the city of Lianyungang, Jiangsu Province, 20 kilometers away from the Lianyungang Airport and 100 kilometers away from port. The transportation is convenient, and expressways are nearby.
   
Covered an area of 217,344 square meters, the company has a three phases construction plan of a solar grade poly-silicon wafer factory with annual capacity of 600MW (150 million pieces) and revenue of 3 billion RMB.
   
By the end of 2010, the first two phases of construction have been completed, which covered an area of 50,000 square meters. The facility utilizes the world most advanced solar wafer manufacturing equipments leading European and American equipment suppliers. Annual solar wafer capacity exceeds 300MW, equivalent to more 75 million pieces of high quality solar wafers per year.
